Love and Memory Blood Donation
Blood Donation of the Cultural Organisation Mygdonia

Today, Sunday, March 1, 2026, a day of remembrance, the 2nd annual voluntary blood donation of our Organization took place, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the tragic Tempi accident and especially to the memory of our Nikitas. A silent memorial of honour and respect, transformed into an act of life.

With deep emotion and endless gratitude, we express a great and sincere thank you to everyone who embraced the 2nd annual memorial blood donation. We sincerely thank those who donated blood, those who came with the intention to donate but were not allowed to do so for medical reasons, as well as the passers-by who stopped, were informed, and supported our action with their presence and words. For all of us, every intention to give was equally valuable, and every presence an act of respect and humanity.

Your presence was not just large in number. It was meaningful, warm, and deeply human.
Every unit of blood was an act of love, a message of life.
We were especially moved by the sight of parents bringing their children to witness firsthand what offering means. Because solidarity is taught by example, and today that example was bright and clear.
We honoured Nikitas’ memory in the most beautiful and living way. We transformed pain into strength and responded to injustice with humanity, unity, and hope.
We sincerely thank for their support:
- Deputy Regional Governor Mr. Kefalas
- Deputy Mayor Ms. Stathi
- our volunteers, who, with dedication and selfless contribution, played a decisive role in the organisation and smooth running of the blood donation
- The women of our association for the handmade “Martakia” distributed to volunteers and visitors
- Makaw Coffee Shop and Mr Pyrgelis Vangelis for the coffees and fasting snacks
- The bakery Aux Pâte for the fasting cheese pies
- The pastry shop “Kostas” for the sweets
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this action and giving life.
We renew our appointment for next year, with the same strength, the same unity, and the same love.
Yours sincerely,
Cultural Organisation Mygdonia
